Workshop mit LSBTI*-Ansprechpartner*innen der
Polizei und Staatsanwaltschaft

Das Projekt „SUPPORT – Homosexuelle und transgeschlechtliche Geflüchtete stärken“ des Lesben und Schwulenverbandes Berlin- Brandenburg e.V., bietet am Mittwoch dem 22.02.2017 ein Workshop zum Umgang mit Gewalttaten, physische und verbale Übergriffe auf queere Geflüchtete an. Anwesend werden die LSBTI*-Ansprechpartner*innen der Polizei und Staatsanwaltschaft, Kriminaloberkommissarin Maria Tischbier sowie Staatsanwalt Markus Oswald.
In dem Workshop werden vermittelt welche Rechte Betroffene von Übergriffen haben, wann es sinnvoll ist eine Anzeige zu erstatten und an wen sich gewendet werden kann.
Teilnehmende der Veranstaltung werden außerdem mit einer Notfallkarte in verschiedenen Sprachen ausgestattet. Diese enthält die wichtigsten Kontakte und Adressen für Menschen, die in eine gewaltvolle Notsituation geraten sind.

Der Workshop richtet sich an LSBTI*-Geflüchtete, Ehrenamtliche und Hauptamtliche.

Dealing with violence upon LGBTI*- refugees

Workshop with LGBTI*-specialist from the police and prosecution

The project „SUPPORT- Homosexual and transgender refugees” of the lesbian and gay union Berlin- Brandenburg e.V., offers on Wednesday the 22nd February 2017 a workshop about dealing with violence, physical and verbal assaults towards queer refugees.
The responsible LGBTI* – specialists from the police and the prosecution department, the detective chief inspector Ms Maria Tischbier so as the state prosecutor Markus Oswald will be there.
The workshop will give an overview which rights the affected people have, when it is useful to make a complain to the police and who to contact.
Participants of this event will also receive an emergency card in different languages. This will include the most important contacts and adresses for people who experienced a violent situation.

The workshop is directed towards LGBTI* refugees, volunteers and staff.
When: 22nd of February 2017, from 6.30 pm to 8.30pm
